Provence scene

1. Chateauneuf du Pape
This house is on a quiet street in the heart of the wine-producing region of Provence. Within walking distance of the caves for wine-tasting. 2 bedrooms with king-size beds, one bathroom. Also blow-up bed for an extra child or two. Decorated with simple Provencal furnishings and fabrics mostly from local antique markets. Fully equipped kitchen, dishwasher, washer/dryer, bottle of wine on arrival.

2. Le Beaucet
A charming little house in a little country village just south of Venasque in the Luberon area. The village is dominated by the ruins of a chateaux and the house is built into the mountain under its ruins. It has one double bedroom, one bathroom. Blow-up bed for extra children. Well-equipped kitchen. Terrace overlooking valley with spectacular views of mountains and sunsets.
Linda has stayed at Chateauneuf du Pape, Pam has stayed in Le Beaucet. Christina has inspected both properties.
