Yorkshire Dales Inn, England The Fat Lamb Country Inn was originally a 17th century farmhouse, and its solid stone walls and open fires still create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The Hotel has been owned and managed by the current owners since the late 70's, and during that time they have worked to combine modern amenities with good old-fashioned comfort.
They are situated in magnificent open countryside midway between the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales - ideal for fell walking and touring in England's beautiful North Country. All bedrooms have private bathrooms. Several are situated on the ground floor and there is full wheelchair access to this and other hotel amenities. The food is excellent here, and it is a good idea to take advantage of their B&B+dinner rates.
